The sewing company Pfaff has at the moment 3 types of Pfaff embroidery machines. This post will discuss some of the many features of the Pfaff embroidery machines and how they might be able to help you in your sewing, embroidering and crafting. Pfaff sewing machines might not be cheapest out there, but they are made by a German company, and no one can argue with German engineering and ingenuity. Their quality is practically unsurpassed and they’ve been in business for well over a hundred years. That doesn’t happen without a dedication to the business of sewing. In my humble opinion.
Okay, so you’ve decided you want to find a Pfaff embroidery machine, but you’re not sure what exactly you need and what the options are in the Pfaff line of embroidery machines. Well, I’m glad you’re here as we’ll go over them for you now. There are 3 Pfaff embroidery machines to choose from as mentioned earlier. Of course as you go up in price you also go up in features. The entry level Pfaff embroidery machine is the Pfaff creative 2.0. Moving up from there you get the Pfaff creative 4.0, and if you have a lot of money and you’re a real pro then probably the Pfaff creative vision is for you. I’ve written about this in another post which you can find by clicking on the link.
Let’s turn to the Pfaff creative 2.0. We’ll start at the beginning, a very good place to start. So unless otherwise mentioned, the Pfaff 4.0 will include the features of the Pfaff 2.0 and the Pfaff creative vision will include the features of the Pfaff 4.0 and Pfaff 2.0.
All 3 of these Pfaff embroidery machines have a very generous long free arm as well as good sewing space as you can see from any pictures of these machines. Also, they have dual lights to help you see better what is going on while you’re sewing and in the Pfaff creative 2.0, the clear graphic display shows you the actual size of the stitch amongst other information as you go. Additionally, the Pfaff 2.0 also comes with over 100 free embroidery designs from the very top designers. You also get the Pfaff 1GB USB memory stick so you can easily transfer your designs back and forth from your computer to your embroidery machine.
The Pfaff creative 4.0 embroidery machine comes with the HD, high definition three dimensional screen which really allows you to see the intricate detail, colors and shapes of your patterns. This HD screen is also a touch screen and allows for your full control over the patterns on the screen, so you can edit and change the pattern as you go if you wish. You also get with the Pfaff 4.0 the creative square hoop, which at just under 5 inches square is perfect for your smaller embroidery jobs.
The Pfaff creative vision has been written about elsewhere, so go have a look at that page dedicated just to it. I’d just like to sum up with just a couple of the additional features that the Pfaff embroidery machines have for your sewing and embroidering ease of use. All of Pfaff embroidery machines come with the extra presser foot lift so that quilting thicker fabrics is easy. You also have full control over the needle with over 3 dozen needle positions to choose from. These are just some of the extra features that make the Pfaff embroidery machines the choice for serious hobby embroiderers and professionals the world over.
But before you make any final decisions, take a look at the older Pfaff 260 as well as the Pfaff Overlock and the Pfaff Select just to be sure
